What You'll Be Doing:
- Monitoring security events across multiple client environments
- Investigating alerts and identifying genuine security incidents
- Responding to cyber security incidents and coordinating remediation activities
- Performing threat hunting and proactive security monitoring (Level 2 & 3)
- Conducting malware analysis and forensic investigations (Level 3)
- Escalating incidents where appropriate
- Working closely with clients during security events
- Developing and improving SOC processes and documentation
- Contributing to security automation initiatives
- Keeping up to date with the latest cyber threats and attack techniques
- Experience working in a Security Operations Centre (Level dependent)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of cyber security frameworks and best practices
- Experience investigating security alerts and incidents
- Excellent communication skills
- A genuine passion for cyber security
- Relevant certifications are highly regarded (Security+, CySA+, SC-200, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP or similar)
