What You’ll Be Doing
Your role will be varied, giving you the opportunity to develop beyond traditional support work. Depending on your experience, you’ll be involved in:
- Providing Level 2 technical support across multiple client environments
- Troubleshooting more complex technical issues and identifying root causes
- Supporting Microsoft Cloud, infrastructure and Modern Workplace environments
- Assisting with cloud migrations and infrastructure projects
- Getting involved in security-related projects and solutions
- Participating in client discovery and potentially assisting with solution design
- Visiting customer sites when required
- Building trusted relationships and acting as a technical advisor to clients
- Improving documentation, processes and internal systems
- Working alongside senior engineers and learning from experienced technical specialists
You don’t need to know everything. Nobody does. What matters is having a strong technical foundation, MSP/MSSP experience and the motivation to keep developing.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Proven MSP/MSSP experience supporting multiple customer environments
- Solid Level 2 troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience across Microsoft Cloud and Modern Workplace technologies
- Exposure to cloud migrations and infrastructure projects
- Experience with modern device management including Intune and Autopilot
- Relevant Microsoft certifications, or be actively working towards them
- Strong customer communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to prioritise across multiple customers and competing requirements
- Good documentation habits and attention to detail
- A proactive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for learning
