This organisation is a market leader in its niche area of Data. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an analyst programmer to join our solution delivery team. The team takes pride in exceptional customer service and produces only the highest quality of work. In this role, you will be involved in a number of very specialised and exciting data-centric projects centered on data integration, cleansing, and analytics.

As well as having strong technical competency with the outlined technologies below you will be business savvy and be very comfortable interacting and consulting with customers on a daily basis.

Due to the nature of the work you will need to have Australian Citizenship and be eligible to obtain a relevant security clearance.

Key Requirements:
  • 3+ years database development experience (in SQL Server and/or Oracle)
  • Development skills with one or more commonly used development languages such as C#.Net and JAVA
  • Data scientist/analysis experience favorable
  • Tertiary educated in computer science or related discipline
  • Experience in customer-facing roles – highly beneficial
  • Lateral thinker with the ability to “think on your feet”
  • Strong consultative and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written communication – including drafting technical specifications
  • Ability to work independently but also recognise when help is required
  • An ability to relate to people at all levels
  • “Trainable” with the ability to quickly learn different types of technologies
